PET Speaking Part 2 – Full Script (2 students, 1 minute
each)
👩🏫 Examiner:
Now, in this part of the test, I’m going to give each of you
a photograph. I’d like you to talk about your photograph on your own for about
one minute.
[To Student A:]
Here is your photograph. It shows people with elephants in a river. Please tell
us what you can see in the picture.
You have about one minute.
🧍♀️ Student A
(Elephants Photo):
In this picture, I can see a group of people standing in a
river with some elephants. It looks like they are washing or
playing with the elephants, maybe as part of a tour or a volunteer
program. I think the people are probably tourists because
they’re wearing casual clothes and they look excited and happy.
There are trees and nature all around, and the water is
clear. I think it must be very hot and sunny because everyone
is wearing shorts and T-shirts, and the light is very bright. They don’t seem
to be working hard — more like enjoying the experience. I think this is
probably in Asia, maybe in Thailand, but I'm not sure.
This activity looks really fun, and I’d love to try it. It
seems peaceful, and the elephants are calm, so it’s probably a special moment
for the people in the photo.
👩🏫 Examiner:
Thank you.
[To Student B:]
Now, here is your photograph. It shows a ship surrounded by ice. Please tell us
what you can see in the picture.
You have about one minute.
🧍♂️ Student B (Ship
and Ice Photo):
In this photo, there’s a very large ship stuck in the middle
of a frozen landscape. All around it, there is ice and snow. There are a few
people near the ship, and it looks like they are taking photos
or exploring the area. I think the people are probably part of
a scientific expedition or maybe tourists visiting a very cold place.
They’re all wearing thick jackets and warm clothes, so I
think it must be freezing — maybe below zero. I'm not sure where
this is, but it could be the Arctic or Antarctica. The ship is really big, so
maybe it was used to travel through the ice, but now it looks stuck.
It doesn’t look very comfortable, but it’s probably a
once-in-a-lifetime experience. I think I would enjoy seeing this for a short
time, but not for long, because I prefer warm weather.
