Introductory conversation video about giving opinions, making suggestions, and asking for opinions
A student’s
conversation about organizing a trip to Tulum
Student 1:
So, we’re all going to Tulum next month. We need to plan what to take and what
to do. What do you think?
Student 2:
I think it’s going to be so much fun! I can’t wait to see the Mayan ruins. I
think we should take hiking shoes rather than flip-flops. The ground there can
be kind of rocky.
Student 1:
Yeah, true. And I think a guided tour would be more useful for us than just
walking around by ourselves.
Student 2:
For sure. They’d probably take us to the best spots and explain everything.
Student 1:
What about taking a day to go swimming in the cenotes?
Student 2:
That’s a good idea, isn’t it? I’ve never been to one before!
Student 1:
Me neither. How about taking snorkeling gear too? I heard there’s a reef near
the beach.
Student 2:
Good idea! I also think we should take reusable bottles rather than buying
plastic ones all the time. Better for the environment.
Student 1:
Totally agree. Oh, and since we’re studying English, maybe we can practice with
tourists or even write something about the trip in English?
Student 2:
That would be cool! We can even take some photos and make a blog or a video.
Student 1:
Perfect. This trip is going to be awesome!
